in 1996, in order to fulfill the power system requirements of onsite inspection and verification of the sf6 gas density monitor, roye researchers developed the first set of sf6 gas density monitor calibrators in china, which was highly acknowledged and praised in electrical power industry. then roye researchers innovated persistently, continually improving products, and introduced the first generation and second generation of products. introduced in 2005, the third generation product was a fully functional realization of this pioneering concept, the first in the industry, and received a patent. the fourth generation product is about to be launched. this generation’s calibrator can be said to have revolutionary innovation. currently the calibrator products from roye are highly recognized by customers and the market, and are used by more than 60% of the national electricity supply authorities.
in 2001, roye technology team developed the sf6 gas density monitor assembly connector - china's first connector for one-density monitor that can be checked without disassembling. this connector was well received immediately upon introduction to the market and is still widely used today. based on different size and specific requirements of the customer installation and interface, our company has developed a series of this connector and process oriented production, thus greatly reducing production time and costs.
in 2004, roye technical team developed the first generation oil-free shock-resistant sf6 gas density monitors with external diameter of 100 mm, density monitors with external diameter of 60 mm, and density gauge. the emergence of this product resolved the various long-standing and difficult problems that the oil-filled type sf6 gas density monitor had faced, including oil leakage, poor performance under low temperature, and small electrical capacity, to name a few. in a short time it attracted a lot of attention in the country. however, it also has problems such as not very good shock resistance performance and subpar accuracy, and so on. our technical team, who had a number of china's first records, took these problems to heart. we were determined to solve them, in order to make a greater contribution to the power industry.
in 2006, after a year and a half of hard research work, and with the help of many industry experts, roye technical team introduced the second-generation oil-free shock-resistant sf6 gasdensity monitor. it resolved the technical barriers from the first-generation products, and made more than 20 technological improvements on the first generation product. compared with the first generation product, the new product has better shock resistance, more accuracy, and stronger anti-interference ability. along with the birth of this product, our company also produced 28 invention patents, 122 utility model patents, and 6 patents for appearance in the area of sf6. in addition, we received high regards from local government, which has given vigorous support to us as an innovative company.
in 2007, the second generation of oil-free shock-resistant sf6 gas density monitor that we manufactured received the attention of an international electricity production giant, which started some initial contacts with our company.
in 2008, our non-oil shock-resistant sf6 gas density monitor passed tens of thousands of tests by the international electricity production giant, and was well recognized.
in 2009, with the manufacture of non-oil shock-resistant density monitor, our company becomes the first domestic manufacturers in 1000kv substation applications, which received the attention of another international electricity production giant. currently we are having some initial contact with them.
in 2010, in response to the needs of national digital substations, we launched a new generation of sf6 gas density monitor with true remote transport capability. also in 2010, we will launch a third-generation oil-free shock-resistant sf6 gas density monitors. this product will have higher precision, higher shock resistance and stronger environmental adaptability, and become the world’s most advanced.
